Male Athletes
(For Belgian Championships 2026 - October 11)
In order to give every athlete an equal chance to show off their physique on stage, we use one method exclusively to tan athletes for the competitions organised by NCOBB.
The tan is applied by means of a cream supplied at a very democratic price through our organisation. This cream can be purchased through our webshop and collected at a location and time provided with the purchase, as well as at the registration/weigh-in of each competition.
Any other method used backstage to tan will not be accepted and will result in disqualification of the athlete if no remediation is possible before the start of the contest (first category of the day). Also note that extra application oils/sprays on top of this official competition tan is not allowed!
Athletes are required to be extremely mindful of backstage hygiëne and tidiness. Athletes who damage or stain the backstage area excessively, will be disqualified and in extreme cases fined by the NCOBB administration. This is decided by the official NCOBB administration.
The tanning does not completely dry into the skin, leaving stains on clothing that should all be removable after proper washing. We advise wearing dark clothes backstage and putting on stage outfits at the latest moment. Rented stage outfits can be a problem to return when thoroughly stained by our cream tan.
It must be noted that this tan is oil based, making it not allowed in many other organisations, including most competitions of other Physique Mania countries.
Female Athletes

Female competitors use a different competition tan: XT Xtreme Tan. This product needs a first application the day before competition and a final layer on competition day.

Application method:
- Shake the container very well before use.
- Spray onto the skin from a short distance , applying evenly with the help of the paint roller.
- Leave overnight before applying the next layer for a more intense and longer-lasting result. This means a first layer on Saturday October 10, and a second (very light skinned athletes, and a third) layer on competition day Sunday October 11.
When you want to remove it, XTREME TAN is easily washed off with hot water, effortlessly and without residue, leaving your skin soft and ready for the next challenge.
